🚗 Model Description
The PEUGEOT RCZ (2009–2015) was developed as a bold statement in the compact sports coupe segment. Its striking “double-bubble” roof, flared wheel arches, and low stance made it a design icon upon release. Built on the PSA PF2 platform, the RCZ was not just about looks—it offered a thrilling drive with precise handling, sharp steering, and impressive road grip.
Under the hood, the RCZ was available with several powertrains, including the punchy 1.6L THP petrol and efficient 2.0L HDi diesel engines. Some versions offered up to 270 hp in the RCZ R performance model, capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in under 6 seconds. Manual and automatic transmissions were both available, catering to purists and everyday drivers alike.
Inside, the cabin was refined, featuring leather upholstery, advanced infotainment systems, and a driver-focused cockpit. The RCZ combined sporty ergonomics with premium finishes, making it a comfortable grand tourer as well as a weekend sports car. Despite production ending in 2015, it remains a modern classic beloved by enthusiasts worldwide.
