🚗 Model Description
The Ducati Desmosedici RR is one of the most exclusive production motorcycles in history. Unveiled in 2006 and delivered between 2007 and 2008, this street-legal superbike was born from Ducati’s MotoGP technology. Only 1,500 units were made, and each was equipped with a 989cc V4 engine derived directly from the Desmosedici GP6 race bike.
The Desmosedici RR was capable of producing 200 horsepower and came with race-inspired features such as a carbon fiber fairing, magnesium components, and a titanium exhaust system. With top speeds exceeding 190 mph and a dry weight of just 171 kg, it provided track-level performance in a road-legal package. It also introduced a level of aerodynamics and chassis tuning previously unseen in a consumer Ducati.
Today, the Desmosedici RR is a collector’s item, treasured by superbike enthusiasts and MotoGP fans worldwide. It represents the pinnacle of Ducati engineering and remains a symbol of the brand’s racing heritage. Its rarity and legacy make it one of the most iconic motorcycles ever produced.
